Now days, the brand name may be obscure, but this was actually a join-venture between Fender and Ibanez, in attempt to make contemporary high end basses. This thing feels as good as many boutique basses and looks the part as well. There's some obvious wear and tear here and there, but nothing crazy for a 36-year-old piece that's been played. Ships in a hard-shell case.
